Keep on reading to find out everything there is to know about the power requests.
What are they?
Power requests enable you to let suppliers specify to you how much power they need during the event. This way, you can efficiently rent and distribute the power units at your event site.
How do you use them?
There are several steps you need to take. We'll walk you through them.
First, activate the usage of the power requests.
- Within the event, go to 'Settings'.
- Click 'Production module'.
- At 'Power requests', toggle the box to enable this setting.
Then, add the power units to your accreditation list.
- Within the event, go to 'Settings'.
- Click 'Accreditations'
- Add an accreditation category. Name the category. For Type you choose Power. This is important.
- Add all available power units that may be requested as items in this category.
Now, we're going to create a production request so the suppliers can actually request what they need.
- Create a production request.
- In the first step, be sure to enable the section 'Production needs in bulk'.
- At 'Production needs in bulk', select the accreditation items you've just added. Select all items the recipient of this production request may request.
Now your suppliers can request what they need. After they request one of the power items, they will see 'Power Specification' in their request sheet. When they open this, they will see every power item they have requested. For every item they can specify per day how much power they need. This way, you can easily determine if some generators can be shared with multiple suppliers.
Suppliers can even enter exactly which devices they are going to connect to this power outlet.
Now, how can you see the data they've entered?
- When you open a production request, you will see the tab 'Power specifications'.
- At this tab, you can see what is requested, and approve it. You can also edit and approve.
