It is important to decide whether you want the visitors to confirm their presence or not. If so, then the RSVP option can be used. RSVP stands for: Répondez s'il vous plaît, or: Please answer.
If the RVSP option is enabled, the approved members of a crowd type will receive an email with an invitation with the option to accept or decline. Then those who have accepted the invitation will receive a ticket. If the invitation is declined, the invitee does not receive a ticket.
The RSVP setting is an optional setting.
Setting RSVP Options
- Select the right event from the Launchpad.
- Go to crowd type for which you want to enable RSVP and then click on Options.
- Click on RSVP.
- Check the Enable RSVP option box.
- Choose whether you want to enable the RSVP option for everyone within this crowd type or only for specified segments.
- Click on Continue.
- Select the sender options. Choose whether you want to show the one who creates the invitation as the sender, or if you want to set up custom sender details.
- Write a subject line.
- Click on Continue.
- In this next step, you determine what you want the e-mail to look like. Upload a header and a footer image and write the text that will be going along with the invitation.

- Write the text the invitee gets to see when they accept the invitation.
It is an option to have the invitee submit the required/necessary accreditations directly. There are two options for this; only let the recipient indicate on which days the invitation is being used and/or let the invitee indicate what accreditation numbers are needed. - Click on Continue.
- Write the text the invitee gets to see when they decline the invitation.
- Click on Continue.
- Set a deadline for this invitation. After this date, the invitee won't be able to accept or decline the invitation.
- That's it, you're done! Click the button and you're ready to go.
